Okay so your probably wondering why I created a blog “The heart of a Transplant”. I have lived in 7 different cities since I was 18, I am God’s transplant. Transplants are taken from place to place, uprooted from their original origin and placed somewhere new. Whether it was college or my husband’s job God has allowed me to live and experience some really extrodinary things in the past 11 years.  I got the vision for this blog around 4 am in the morning while I was deliriously sleepy nursing my baby. With half my body hanging off the bed, I heard clear instructions and decided to follow directions.  And with small push from my young cousin Lena, the pieces are starting to come together.  I’m sure it’s bigger than what I can imagine so I decided to start right here for now.  You see to whom much is given, much is required.  I have been given a lot in life and I feel as though I want to share it with those that can benefit.  I’ve seen a lot, been through a lot, and done a lot; so I want to share my victories and defeats with an audience that deserves the truth about the life of an Athlete’s wife. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free” John 8:32  I want to make you laugh and cry with some of my funny stories.  I want you to sigh at some of my personal revelations and hopefully grow from something I say.  I want to encourage you in your down times, and most importantly I want to share the good news of Jesus Christ who is able to do far more than you can ever imagine or fathom.  As the wife of an Athlete I am faced with many challenges on a daily basis that try and keep me from a close walk with God.  On the other hand, I have experienced much favor and reward from a lifestyle that has afforded me many privileges and blessings.  So I decided to try and balance this thing called life and surrender it to a great big God.  I have many things to share with you because my life is like a classroom, always something to learn.  From groupies to Gucci- I have a story to tell.  From play dates to play mates-I have a story to tell.  From the  family room to the upper room-I have a story to tell.  From acting a fool to maturity-I have a story tell.  My hope is that I will influence you to follow my blog into a life of growth and love.  This is an interactive site, which means I need all of you to participate, share your stories, and enjoy a laugh!  Maybe I’m just a candidate waiting for a new heart and God is going to use my experiences to bring about the ultimate “HEART TRANSPLANT”.
